Dave Johnson

Johnson's fame has taken a back seat to the better known teammates of his era, such as the 20 game winning pitchers, the Robinsons, Boog Powell and Earl Weaver.  I am sure that he does not mind.

In 1970, Johnson achieved a then career high batting average of 281. He played all five games of the World Series, batting 313 and walking 5 times.
