I remember this player, but only from looking at the cards in the early 1970's. 1970 was Dal Canton's last year with Pittsburgh.  Dal Canton had a decent year with the Pirates, but did not see any playoff action against the Reds. He was traded in December to the Royals as part of the Fred Patek deal that brought Bob Johnson and Jackie Hernandez to Pittsburgh.
